VinglishTalk has one currency — credits — and one rule that shapes everything: credits buy time and flair, never reach. You can play the entire social side of the app forever without spending a thing.
What's free (almost everything)
The whole crowd layer — the part that makes a room feel alive — costs nothing, ever:
- Opening and joining rooms, as Sparker, Miner, or Lurker.
- Reports, crowd tips, stage chat, and anonymous vibes.
- The four reactions and the weekly & monthly leaderboards.
- Following people, building your profile, saving your clips.
- Watching any Live Class as free audience.
Spending money never makes your voice louder, your reactions worth more, or your seat safer. The room is exactly as fair whether you've topped up or never paid a cent.
What credits are for
Live Class slots
Pay to queue for guaranteed one-on-one time with a teacher. The cost scales with how long you want — see the queue economy.
Cosmetics
Profile badges and visual skins. Pure decoration — they change how you look, never what you can do.
How top-up works
Credits are bought with a normal Vietnamese bank transfer, and the flow is built to be effortless and instant. From the Credits page:
- Pick a preset pack or type a custom amount.
- We show a VietQR code. Scan it with any banking app — or MoMo / ZaloPay.
- Send the transfer with the pre-filled memo left exactly as-is.
- The moment the bank confirms the transfer, your credits land automatically — usually within seconds. No screenshots, no waiting for a human.
That last step is handled by a payment webhook that matches your transfer's memo to your pending order and tops you up — once, safely, even if the bank sends the notification twice. The on-screen countdown is just for the QR; it never affects a transfer that's already on its way.
The transfer memo is how the system recognizes your payment. Leave it exactly as shown and your credits confirm themselves — change it and a human may have to sort it out.
Card checkouts are built for a market our users mostly aren't in. In Vietnam, the universal way to pay is a bank-app QR transfer — instant, free, and already on everyone's phone. Building the rail ourselves, with no third-party checkout, means no foreign processor skimming a cut off a 20,000₫ top-up, no redirect to an unfamiliar payment page, and money that stays in a local bank.
Pricing
Pricing is linear and boring on purpose: 1 credit = 1,000₫. Buy a preset pack, or enter any custom amount within the allowed range (in round multiples of 1,000₫). Your full top-up history lives on the same page.

Top-up only — no cash-outs
Credits go one way: in. There are no withdrawals, redemptions, or conversions back to money anywhere on the platform. Credits are something you spend inside VinglishTalk on class time and cosmetics — not a wallet, not an investment, not a payout.
