Status here is earned out loud, never bought. Your profile isn't a follower count and a bio — it's a voice business card. A visitor lands on it and, within seconds, hears exactly who you are: your real voice, your humor, your accent, and what people think after talking to you.
My Thinkings — three clips
The heart of your profile is My Thinkings: exactly three short audio clips you've chosen to keep. Caught yourself explaining something well in a room? Save it to one of the three slots. Visitors tap to listen. Thirty-five thousand followers somewhere else means nothing here — three sharp clips of you actually thinking on your feet tell someone exactly who they're about to share a stage with.
You pick what goes in each slot — there's no algorithm and no length limit, just your current top three. The tight cap is the point: every clip has to earn its place.
These clips also pull double duty. When you sit in the Waiting Hall, the clip on your card is what a Sparker plays before deciding to pull you in — a few seconds of your real voice is a far better pitch than any username. Which is exactly why keeping only your best three matters: that's the version of you the whole site meets first.
The Like
There's exactly one way to reward a speaker: the Like. No menu of emotions to scroll, no scoring rubric — you heard something worth rewarding and you said so. One clear signal, easy to give and impossible to overthink. The meaning lives in who you spend your likes on, not in which button you press.
A Like doesn't have to mean you agreed. Reward the speaker who made you think, the one who got under your skin, the take you're still chewing on — provocative beats agreeable here, and a Like is how you say that landed, whether or not it won you over.
Be generous, but no collusion
Likes flow wide in one direction and are tightly bounded in the other. You can give an unlimited number of likes every day — pour them into the crowd, support is something we actively want to reward. But you can send at most three likes to any one person per day. That single cap is the anti-collusion valve: two friends can't sit in a corner farming each other's scores. The people who climb are the ones reaching many listeners, not the ones with one loyal accomplice.
Leaderboards that reset
Every like you receive rolls into the Weekly and Monthly leaderboards — the public scoreboard of who's showing up and connecting. Then, at the end of each cycle, the board takes a hard reset back to zero.
That reset matters. Last month's champion doesn't start the new month with a ten-thousand-point head start, so a newcomer who shows up tonight always has a genuinely level field. You climb by resonating, not by grinding hours — and status is something you keep re-earning, never a wall you build once and hide behind.
Reviews — what people took away
Anyone who's talked with you can leave a review on your profile, and it has a specific, lovely shape. It's not five stars. The reviewer first captures, in a few words, the idea they took away from you — then writes a comment on it. So your reviews read as a record of the thoughts you actually managed to plant in other people's heads. One review per person, editable any time.
Credentials you earn by speaking
Liked Reports
Every time a Sparker likes a report you wrote, your Liked Reports count ticks up — permanently. Proof you can synthesize a live idea in one clean sentence.
Rooms & likes
Your profile carries how many rooms you've sparked and the total likes you've drawn over time.
Followers & following
Follow the speakers you like; filter the lobby to just their rooms. Counts sit on your profile.
Recent Conversationers
A small row of the people you've most recently shared a stage with — Sparkers and Miners, never silent Lurkers. Real exchanges only.
Make it yours
- Nickname & avatar — your handle is your profile URL (
/u/your-name). - Social links — Facebook, TikTok, and Threads, if you want them.
- Thinking pose — a custom image that replaces your avatar whenever you hold Thinking Mode. A little personality for your pauses.
- Cosmetics — badges and visual skins, drawn from your credit balance. Pure flex; they never change what you can do.
Your own profile quietly tracks how many likes you've given this week and month — a nudge that being a supportive listener is its own kind of status here.
Practice in private — the sandbox
Not everything you do is for an audience. The sandbox is your solo gym: rehearse against an idea — one of yours, or a built-in starter topic — with a simulated countdown and zero eyes on you. It's where you warm up the muscle on a quiet afternoon before taking it into a live room at night.
